Affiliate disclosure

ReadingSucks.com is free to use. We keep the lights on (and Grumpy in headphones) with affiliate links. When you click a link to a store on this site and then buy something or start a membership, we may earn a commission. It never costs you anything extra.

Amazon and Audible

ReadingSucks.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. This includes Audible memberships, audiobooks and Kindle books.

Libro.fm and other partners

We also participate in affiliate programs run by other audiobook and podcast services, including Libro.fm (through the Awin network). We may add more partners over time, and this page will list them.

How we pick books

Our lists are based on what’s popular right now across bestseller charts, plus our own editorial judgment. Commissions don’t decide what makes the list, and we show more than one store for each book so you can buy wherever you like. Grumpy’s opinions are his own, and he has many.
